President, Local 212 has moved that we deal with a motion that was originally tabled - that of recall of Bruce Bell, Hope Cumming, and Peter Massy.

I will attempt to bring further news if possible. It’s hard to get out of the room to get a message out.

Well, I’m sitting outside the Convention hall right now; I am actually not supposed to have internet connectivity but I managed to connect. People are so afraid of information leaking out to Voices for Facts; it’s ridiculous, really. Yesterday I got asked if I was “transmitting” information… all I had on the screen was “meow meow meow meow” typed repeatedly. Time for speeches! I guess I will be back soon.

Shaw + POP3 = Stupid

Well, my enjoyment of Shaw Internet is now at a close. They are bloody retarded.

Shaw apparently thinks for security it’s neccessary to block anyone who is not connected to a Shaw connection from accessing their Shaw email through any method other than Webmail.

This is so beyond ridiculous I can’t even imagine an explanation. SMTP blocking (for sending mail) is one thing… that IS inconvenient but spammers would love to be able to send email through whatever server they wanted, whenever. However being forbidden from checking YOUR OWN email when you dare to be away from home unless you use WEBMAIL - which is concerto grosso - is retarded.

If I wasn’t prepaid for another few months on Shaw I would actually consider switching back to TELUS over this. (Those who know me now realize that for me to say I would go back to TELUS internet shows how mad I am over this!)
